8 FOOT BT 12 FOOT---------- WATER, & ELECTRIC INCLUDED. I BUILT THIS IN BETWEEN RAIN, WIND, AND COLD DAYS. NOW FINISHED IT HAS GREAN BEANS, BROCCOLI, LOTS OF PEPPERS, TOMATO'S, CUCUMBERS, AND SWEAT PEAS. SO FAR IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING AND STAYS WARM DURING COLD DAYS. IT IS NOW JUNE 10TH AND WE HAVE NOT SEEN A DAY OVER 75 , SO I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WILL WORK IF WE GET HOT DAYS.
I HAVE AN ATTIC FAN INSTALLED AND SET TO TURN ON AT 90 DEGREES. SO FAR IT RUNS A LOT DURING THE DAY. TIME WILL TELL BUT I EXPECT TOMATOES BEFORE JULY 4TH.

CIGAR STORE INDIAN

WOUNDED FINGER

THIS IS MY VERSION OF A CIGAR STORE INDIAN. CARVED IN FEBUARY 2011 FROM A 3 FOOT WALNUT LOG. I NAMED HIM "WOUNDED FINGER" DUE TO THE FACT THAT WHILE I WAS REMOVING A LOT OF WOOD FROM HIS LEGS MY GRINDER BUCKED AND CUT MY LEFT FINGER TO THE TENDON, TOOK A GOUGE OUT OF MY RIGHT ARM, AND TORE MY SHIRT. AFTER A FEW STITCHES, BANDAGES, AND A NEW SHIRT, I WAS GOOD TO GO. I THEN FINISHED HIM WITH NO MORE INJURIES.

Dt. Willie Woodcock

I started this carving in August of 2010 and then wrecked on my bike. After surgery and healing I went back to this project and finished in January of 2011
I gave him the handle of Dr Willie Woodcock and here is his story. He is a historic fictional character.
A Confederate Medic during the Civil War and discharged in 1864, he migrated to the Montana Territory practicing in and around the newly found gold fields of Bannock and Virginia City. Most of his patients died, and with little success as a doctor, he turned to crime; stealing gold from prospectors and killing them if necessary. His taste in expensive clothes, a beautiful mount, and money flashed in the local brothels, gave him away to the Vigilantes of Virginia City, Montana. Caught, tried, convicted and hung by the Vigilantes, he was last of their 21 convictions before the Virginia City Vigilantes were dismantled.
